How to send a large file

Drop it on elevo.
A file or a whole folder, on Mac, Windows or iPhone. elevo reads it and gives you a code; nothing is uploaded.

Send the code.
In a message, an e-mail, wherever you talk to them. It is also a link and a QR code.

They paste it and receive.
The files travel straight between the two devices. If the connection drops, the transfer goes on from where it stopped.
What changes compared with upload services
- No ceiling. elevo sets no size limit; the only limit is the free space on the other side.
- No waiting twice. Nothing is uploaded first and downloaded later: the files go once, straight across.
- No copy left behind. The files are never stored on a server, and only the two devices can read them.
Questions
Does the link expire?
The code works for as long as you keep offering the files: 7 days by default, or until you stop. Nothing is deleted on a schedule, because nothing was uploaded.
Can I send a whole folder?
Yes. A folder arrives as the folder it was, with everything inside in its place.
Is elevo free?
Yes. The app is free to download and to use. If paid plans ever exist, nothing you already use starts charging by itself: the Terms say so.
Do my files pass through your servers?
No. Files go from one device to the other and are never stored anywhere in between. When the two devices cannot reach each other directly, the encrypted traffic passes through a relay run by a third party, which cannot read it.
