It goes straight there.
elevo connects the two devices to each other and the file travels between them, as fast as that connection allows. When a direct path cannot be found, the encrypted traffic passes through a relay that cannot read it.
To get them, you first need elevo. It is free: enter your e-mail address, download, and that is it. It only takes a moment.
elevo is not ready for this device yet. Open this code on a device that has elevo.

The code works while the sender keeps offering the files. Nothing is stored in between.
Send files and folders of any size straight between devices, encrypted end to end. No account. Never stored in the cloud.
Free to download and to use. No account to create.
A demonstration: a file is dropped on elevo on one device, its code is copied and pasted on another, and the file arrives there, checked.
Device to device. Never stored in the cloud.

Close the lid, lose the Wi-Fi, restart the computer. What has arrived stays on disk, and the transfer goes on from there by itself.
Each piece is verified against the fingerprint of the original before it is kept. What you receive is what was sent, bit for bit.
elevo sets no size limit, and a folder arrives as the folder it was, with everything in its place. The only ceiling is the free space on the other side.
Fixed three images and replaced a track? Publish an update under the same code. Whoever received it before is told, gets only what changed, and keeps the earlier version beside the new one.
Share a folder with your team or a client. Whatever anyone adds, changes or removes reaches everyone else, straight between the computers.
A demonstration: three computers share one folder. A file added on one reaches the other two; a file changed on two of them at once is kept in both versions; a file removed on one goes to the bin of the others.
Shared folders are part of elevo Business and Studio. Whoever you invite joins free, with the code you send them.
Files or folders, on the elephant icon or in the panel that opens from it.
It is already copied. Paste it in a message, an email, wherever you talk to them.
elevo on their side fetches the files straight from your device. You both see them arrive.
It does the same job and more: elevo sends files between iPhone, Mac and Windows, in any combination, with a code instead of a list of nearby devices. The two devices can be on the same Wi-Fi or on opposite sides of the world.
In elevo on the iPhone, tap Send, then Photos and videos, and choose the video. On the Mac or PC, paste the code under Receive. The video arrives as it was recorded, at full quality, however long it is.
Yes. The app is free to download and to use. If paid plans ever exist, nothing you already use starts charging by itself: the Terms say so.
No. Files go from one device to the other and are never stored anywhere in between. When the two devices cannot reach each other directly, the encrypted traffic passes through a relay run by a third party, which cannot read it.
None set by elevo. The limit is the free space on the receiving device, and elevo checks it before filling the disk.
The transfer waits and tries again by itself, from where it stopped. It also survives closing elevo and restarting the computer.
Yes. A send code opens in elevo on their device. Opened in a browser, the code leads to this site, to download it.
Yes, while the other side is receiving. The files come from your device, so it has to be awake and online. Keep Awake looks after the awake part.
For as long as you keep offering the files, up to the time you choose in Settings: 7 days unless you change it. You can stop offering at any moment.
elevo is made for Mac, Windows and iPhone. The download section of this page shows which of them are ready today.
Not your files, their names, or who you send them to. To download, this site asks for an e-mail address and keeps it. Once you accept the Terms, the app reports a random installation identifier, the model and name of the device and the versions of elevo and of the system, so installations can be counted. In Settings you can turn off the details of the device; the installed version is still reported, so you can be told about updates.
Free to download and to use. No account to create.
By downloading you agree to the Terms of Use and License, which elevo asks you to accept before the first transfer.
