iPhone ↔ Windows
From iPhone to PC, without a cable
AirDrop stops at the edge of Apple’s world. elevo sends photos, long videos and whole folders between an iPhone and a Windows PC, in either direction, at full quality and with no size limit.
Free to download and to use. No account to create.
Three moves, nothing to pair
-
Choose on the iPhone.
Open elevo, tap Send, then Photos and videos or Files, and pick what goes.
-
Take the code to the PC.
It is a code, a link and a QR code. Send it to yourself in a message, or type it in.
-
Paste it in elevo for Windows.
Under Receive. The files come straight from the iPhone and land in your Downloads folder, or wherever you choose.
Why not a cable, iCloud or WhatsApp
- Nothing is compressed. Videos and photos arrive exactly as the iPhone recorded them, bit for bit.
- No size limit. A long 4K video or a folder of thousands of photos goes in one go.
- No cloud, no account. Nothing is uploaded anywhere, and there is nothing to sign in to on either side.
Questions
Does it work the other way, from PC to iPhone?
Yes. Send from elevo on the PC and paste the code in elevo on the iPhone. What arrives can be saved to Photos or to Files.
Do the iPhone and the PC need to be on the same Wi-Fi?
No. On the same network they connect directly, which is fastest; otherwise the transfer goes across the internet, still encrypted end to end.
Is elevo free?
Yes. The app is free to download and to use. If paid plans ever exist, nothing you already use starts charging by itself: the Terms say so.
Do my files pass through your servers?
No. Files go from one device to the other and are never stored anywhere in between. When the two devices cannot reach each other directly, the encrypted traffic passes through a relay run by a third party, which cannot read it.
