Questions
What counts as commercial use?
Any work that earns money or serves a business: projects for clients, freelance jobs, footage for ads or paid content, and the files of a company, its staff or its partners. Personal photos, school work and charity projects are personal use.
How is the free plan slower?
On the free plan, elevo for Mac, Windows and Linux sends at most 5 MB/s, shared by everyone receiving that send. Business and Studio take the cap off: the speed is whatever both connections allow. Receiving is never limited, and elevo for iPhone and iPad has no cap.
Does the person receiving need a plan?
No. The plan goes with whoever sends. Your clients receive with the free elevo, at the speed of your plan.
What is the difference between Business and Studio?
Business is for one person, on up to two computers. Studio is for a team or a project: one license on up to ten computers at once, file requests, policies the owner sets for every computer, and a shared history of what went and came. Both send at full speed and cover commercial work.
Can I share my plan?
A Business plan is for one person, on up to two computers at a time. For a team, elevo Studio covers ten computers at once with one license. For more than that, write to support@elevo.click.
How do file requests work?
In elevo or on your account page, enter someone's e-mail and, if you like, a message. They get a link that shows what to do, even if they have never used elevo. When they send, the code comes back to you by e-mail and the elevo of your team starts receiving by itself. The files go device to device, as always: they never pass through our servers.
What does the shared history keep?
The name, size and date of each send and receipt, and which computer made it. Never the files or what is in them. The owner can turn it off or clear it at any time on the account page, and entries older than 180 days are deleted.
How does the free trial work?
Business is free for 14 days. Your card is saved at the start and charged on day 15, unless you cancel before. One trial per person.
Can I get a refund?
Business is paid in advance for the period you choose and is not refunded once charged, except where the law of your country requires it. You can cancel at any time and keep the plan until the period you paid for ends.
Where do I manage my plan?
At elevo.click/account, with your e-mail and serial: card, invoices, monthly or yearly, Business or Studio, cancellation, the computers using your license and, on Studio, the team's policies.
What happens when a plan ends?
elevo goes back to the free plan by itself. Everything keeps working, at up to 5 MB/s, and nothing you sent or received is touched.
Are taxes included?
Prices are in US dollars. Where the law requires it, tax is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Invoices can carry your company's tax number.
